The Monkey King: “Havoc in Heavens Palace” was a huge success in its release in making over 170 million dollars at the box office and was released on DVD and Blu Ray Feb 5 2016. For the first time the story is being presented to a worldwide family audience in both 3-D and 2-D utilizing the latest in digital animation technology. It stars major Chinese international actors Donnie Yen , Chow Yun Fat, and Aaron Kwok. This movie was released in Mandarin and cantonese languages only with english subtitles.

“The Monkey King:  The Legend Begins” Hollywoods Re-Imagined version Is a 60-million dollar Chinese-US co-production that will be released in English. Principal photography has been completed and the picture is in post-production under the guidance of a world-class U.S. based visual effects team. These are the  first installment of a trilogy of live action films based on the timeless legend of Sun Wukong, The Monkey King, one of the four great works of Chinese literature.

Monkey King Partners LLC (MKP) is a Connecticut Limited Liability Company that owns copyrights and distribution rights to the picture in all media in about 50 per cent of the world film territories, including North America, all major English speaking markets and several major European and Latin American markets.
